JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK PHOTO ESSAY

Joshua Tree National Park has been on my hiking wish list for a long time so, on a recent trip to Palm Springs, we took a day to go and explore. We drove the entire park, from the south entrance to the west entrance – taking in as many shorter, accessible hikes as we could along the way.

Hiking in a desert is so different from anything I had done before and it was neat to see entirely new-to-me vegetation, interesting rock formations, and of course the famous Joshua Tree. Scroll through the photos below to get a peek at what the park is like!
